i also noticed that in 5053 a few things like the htc task manager didnt work, but it works fine in 5054, so definitaly upgrade if your on an old one, or wait for 5055.

I don't use any backup programs. I flash, hard reset, install cabs (using UC if it works), and activesync. I just came from 5053.

Oh for the guys doing the registry edit to fix the "blank list of add/remove programs" That's the "certificate security disabled" hack in the Reg tweaks thread for the mogul.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=5108
Might want to make sure ALL 4 of the registry values, (not just the 3 mentioned in this thread), are correct.

There is a regeditor built into n2c's roms... open it, browse to the entries and then export them. very easy to do.

My ringtones aren't working either. When I select a different ringtone, it always uses the default one. Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Hrm, anyone know how to disable the startup SOUND? I noticed the reg-key was missing for under HKLM/Software/HTC for StartupAnimation, so I added it and then also added the key "Enabled" and set it to 0. The Sprint animation doesn't show up, (which is good), but the chiming sound is still BLARING. It's LOOOOUUUUDDDD!!! Anyone know how to "turn it down" a tad? Thx!

I'm looking into this as well. it's useless and annoying... can this be killed somehow?

i know in Shap's Advanced Config, there is an option to adjust the volume but it has never worked for me.
