Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

no2chem, I just really need to thank you again.

I have nothing but problems with ROMs built off of DCD's stuff, yet I have next to zero issues with any of yours. Even the earlier builds were not that buggy... on DCD's latest, my phone freezes every time I hang up on a call - just won't wake up from sleep.

Your ROM is faster, has more features, and its much much more stable. I thank you for the work you do for us all!

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

No2Chem,

Any idea on how to prevent multiple messages?

My only problem with the latest ROM is that every message I send using Exchange server gets "stuck" in the outbox for 2 - 10 sync's. The recipients are not happy about receiving the same message over and over again.

It also seems that randomly the clock and date will get reset to a different time and day, I can't use ptraveler alarm program as it will go off at random times.

I am back using 2.17 factory and none of these problems occur. I can live without pTraveler, but can't live with multiple messages.

Other than that I love the ROM, it meets my needs perfectly.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Has anyone else had the Exchange problem mentioned above? If this is a common one caused by the ROM, that would be a deal breaker for me, and I'd have to change my plans to flash to it.

No issues for me with Exchange either. Ev kept dropping with frequency from one to maybe four times a day and required flight mode on/off, but that stopped happening at least for now so could be carrier issue.

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

hello, i am running the 5049 build and have a question. when ever i reset it take upwards of one minute or more to get the sprint signal back. I never had this "feature" when i was on the standard ROM. can you one confirm that they have this same "feature" or is it just me. other than that item this is a great upgrade over the stock ROM. Many thanks.

I have used various builds 5024, 5044, and now 5047 w/ No2Chem's battery and led fix. No exchange 2003 problems at all in any version. Everything syncs as it should. Phone is more responsive, battery lasts longer, Not to mention WM6.1, GPS, & Rev A...All I need now is more RAM and a graphics driver...which may be not be cured till my next phone...so when is the new PPC-7000 Mogul 2.0 coming out, anyways?
