did any1 have problems with there epst information? and username??

I upgraded to this rom and it wiped out my epst info and username

called sprint and got the epst info working but the data part couldnt connect. I had to relock my phone and go back to a stock sprint rom in order for them to update my data connection.

Maybe i had a bad flash and it messed up something? or is this normal? I've flashed my phone a gazzilion time and this is the first time this happened.

i really realy like this rom because of the speed even at 10mb i can run 3-4 apps and it works great, and the texting part of it blows palms out of the way( its not a memory hog)

Hey guys...does anyone know why that stupid "Getting Started" thing is highlighted in Black??? Then I think after a soft-reset, the thing isn't even readable...it turns all Black.

A lot of people had this problem with 3.16 but this shouldn't be normal with this ROM because you're just updating the ROM not the SPL or Radio.

I guess I was one of the lucky ones because the flash to the TEST ROM didn't even wipe my activation/epst or data info. THis might have been because I re-locked the SPL and then flashed the 2.17 ROM and then I flash to 3.16 TEST. I think flashing from a non-stock ROM causes these issues but again, with no2chem's ROM...this shouldn't be happening.

I flashed from the stock 2.17 to this rom and then did the radio upgrade via starting in bootloader the camera button and power button reset thingy. but my epst info was erased ( i called sprint and they reprogrammed my phone but I still cant get my data connection back, when I click start on iota it doesnt do anything), how did you lock your spl? and/or how do I get my data?

Here is what I did:
1. Re-locked SPL (ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@ftp.ppcgeeks...n_Relocker.exe)

2. Flashed Sprint Stock 2.17 ROM (Data Working...Client Initiated IOTA)

3. Flashed Sprint Stock 3.16 TEST ROM (Data Working...Client Initiated IOTA)

4. Unlocked SPL using HardSPL 2.40 (ftp://ppcgeeks:ezupload@ftp.ppcgeeks...rd-SPL-MFG.exe)

5. Flashed No2chem's ROMs (any) (Data Working...Without Client Initiated IOTA)

Note: Client Initiated IOTA does not work with WinMo6.1...with no2chem's latest build (or the earlier builds).

anyone else having problems with this rom and the "fixed" voice command 1.6?

it works fine without my headset, but when i press the button on my jabra bt8010, there is just white noise instead of the beep and VC icon on the phone. i've tried with and without the BT Config on, and manually with hklm\software\oem\Voice Command\ set to the regular and fixed BT exe, but it doesn't work. it also makes WMP unusable. songs scroll by at 2x but don't produce any sound.

it worked fine on the previous 3.16 rom I was using. everything else on this rom seems to work well for me.

Well to downgrade from this ROM to 2.17 (or prior), you would have to change the SPL back to the original that came with the phone...not the new 2.40. Then you can flash 2.17 (or earlier) ROM to it.

This thread on XDA might help... there are a couple of threads similar to this about downgrading but I just found this.

Hmm.. IOTA cab doesn't work? congrats on building your rom, looks like you got the help you needed. =)

Also, getting started appears black for some weird reason, I just deleted it from the latest builds because it really isn't that cool....
