Because an app you are installing is screwing up the clock, like say HTC Home. Find the needed reg edits and fix it.

The dialer has been removed because it was not totally compatible and installing other dialers over it screwed things up more.

Do a search for UC. We are setting things up so all of our apps and files install upon automatically upon hard reset.

i havent installed any other apps. I made the change using Schaps advanced config from the advanced folder. This is a totally clean install.

I saw someone else have this issue back with the 5050 Rom, and I had it on 5053 and again on 5054, but I can't send anything to my phone over bluetooth. I tried to send from 2 other phones, both trying contacts and pictures, but I get a connection failed or a service not supported message. OBEX is turned on in the advanced config, and everything else looks normal or is set to it's default values... The odd thing is I can use the bluetooth explorer to pull files from the other phones no problem, and everything else bluetooth seems to work. (I sent a PM to the person who had this issue before and fixed it, and am waiting for a reply, but if anyone can provide other insight I'd appreciate it.)

There are a few things you can do, one thing is that UC is set up on this ROM, so if you set that up (info here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=366337) it will automatically install a list of stuff that you set up in SDConfig.txt.

I just run http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20753 from my sd card after each new ROM though, because I change the cabs I want to install a lot, so this is easier for me; all I have to do is move cabs in or out of one directory, and then just let it install everything in the background.

From what I remember there are 3 options and they need to be in the right combination or they will over lap. Chances are that you enabled a time/date option without disabling another and they are conflicting.

I can confirm that it is htc home ... i did 3 relfashes thinking it was something up with the rom ... but it is htc home screen. you can fix it by going to the options tab in HTC Home Customizer and checking show titlebar clock. I had to figure this out by installing 1 thing at a time until i figured this out.

Just installed 5054 and no problems so far. Can I use the ICS program to tether without an charges? I'll get around to putting wmwifirouter on it later, but I prefer a USB connection, since I tether for long periods of time.

Finally i got rid of the extra battery, it never bothered me but wow it looks a lot better :D thanks for the tip.

Right now I'm on Build 5035 and have Radio 3.16. I'm trying to get to Build 5054 by way of upgrading to the latest Sprint ROM but when I try to install the Sprint ROM, it gives me Error 328. Can anyone on here guide me on what I would need to do in order to upgrade?

you need to relock your phone. titan relocker is what you need, after that you can flash the sprint release.

What I did, was install just the radio by means of the Olibro bootloader. Then, upgraded the ROM to 505X.

Anyone getting the "Autorun" cannot be opened because its not signed with a trusted certificiate, error after loading 5054? I guess since this isnt running I can't run SDCOnfig.txt. Any ideas?

zekeman read the forums about 4 pages back it is a known problem and there is a temporary fix back there too.

I have tried both 5053 and 5054 a few times and each time with both of them my phone doesnt work... If i place a call it never rings or nothing but says its connected and people say there phone rang but when they answered nothing was there... When people try to call me it doesnt ring I just get a missed call. Anyone know why that is?

Do I need to re-lock my phone to install a custom ROM by nochem or dcd after I install the official radio/rom? I cannot seem to install a custom ROM after installing this new rom.

If so, can someone point me to the unlocker, I can't seem to find it...

when i first installed this i got "file autorun missing blabalbal"

also i cant uninstall apps. it isnt logging them in the program remover.

anyone else confirm these?

It didnt for me... It looked like the standard dialer with the call history. I installed the dialer I found over from pdaphonehome for the mogul but now it looks really messed up.

Yeah, I can confirm this. I went to uninstall the dialer and nothing was there.

Same here! I ve installed a few programs and none show in the remover. I also cannot install another comm manager. I have few and none work! I could in 5053 with a cert, but nada in this one. Also, before it wouldnt even let me finish the install as it didnt have suffiecient permission, now it looks like it does, but doesnt come up when I push the button!

Another item with 5054.

My data arrows are locked white even when not sending data.

It doesn't bother me at all but I know some don't like it.

Let me know how it works out for you. Taken from XDA forums:

1. Do a hard reset. (sync before doing hard reset because you will lost all your contacts/calendar/etc...)
2. After reboot install a registry editor
3. Reset the following the registry to default value: (from dynaxfl post)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1001 = 2
-> Change the value data from 1 to 2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1005 = 16
-> Change the value data from 40 to 16
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Policies\Policies\0000 1017 = 128
-> Change the value data from 132 to 128

Save the change and soft reboot. This should work
4. After your reboot you will not see your registry editor you installed in step 2, but reinstall and you'll see it.
5. Install you apps and you should see them in the Remove Programs

Hm, yeah, confirmed. Looks like only signed apps are being logged into the program remover. The plus though is that programs install crazy fast. =P

BTW, nueROM's awesome! :D Really impressive work, no2chem!

so, if I want to flash a nochem/dcd rom and I have the new official ROM, all i need to do is run the unlocker? I dont need to install this: titan_SPL_2.40-olipro.exe? or anything else like it?

Results so far with 3.35 radio+5054;

Bluetooth synced great, seems to be stable and sounds okay.
GPS works! I could not get it to work with 5053 but did with 5052. Anyway, in my apartment, very first lock got 7 satellites in about 75 seconds, new record! (using google maps only)
Internet Speeds seem fast as usual. No change here.
Memory on boot without any customizations appear to hover in the 20mb amount. Seems to manage memory very well though, very snappy.
extROM issue is fixed. It works now!

Bugs I have found thus far;
-Had a call come in, hit answer, and the sound went away after about 30 seconds on both speakerphone and earpiece. It has only happened once thus far. I had to hang up and call back and it fixed.
-Autorun issue with SDconfig.txt. Very minor complaint.
-Remove programs shows...well NOTHING! I've installed HTC Task Manager, Google Maps, HTC Home and Home Customizer, Kevtris and none show up.

Guys,

Any idea why I can't sync with my exchange server on 5054, I love this new rom, but it provisions the devices security settings and then says cannot sync, try again later! Any help would be greatly appreciated...

This is good news. It's decided then. 3rd generation slingbox it is! i got tired of being continually crapped on as an early adopter of tech toys so I let them work out the bugs. the solo looks to be a nice little box.

Or you could just relock phone and do Sprint's ROM install.

Another EDIT: More calls answered then sound went dead. Seems to be a problem, and a big one....
