not too sure what can be done about this spb backup issue aside from letting n2c know about and see what he comes up with...

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

lol boo, i dont use spb backup anymore.... use either dashwire, or or ppcpimbackup... dashwire is cool tho cuz it saves contacts, texts, pictures and stuff out on the web so u dont have to use up space on ur sd card (even tho the size of the file is small)...

hmm, i think the spb backup issue is due to the base changing significantly... might revert some changes back

So far this is posted by no2chem a few pages back.

so far:

-IR has been re-enabled
-Actual WM6.1 IrDA package pulled from emulator
-All regedits merged into a single provXML
-Improved memory allocation
-Fix SIP support (multiple sips now available).

..more changes to come

Re: No2Chem nueROM 2.0 (WM6.1) Thread

Hey No2Chem did you get your Titan replaced? Hope so. =) Will 5062 be out tonight or later this week? Just wondering if I should hold off on Flashing. I tried DcD's rom and its good but has way too many buys in it. I did see he used a 5.5MB page pool. With that u do get a bit more ram and the device does not suffer. Have you ever set your roms at 5.5? I allways try to change the page pool and get a invalid image bs with the pagepool changer. And then when I try to find the hex address I get lost in space. Oh well. Hope you get your Titan replaced.

Mikee

I am using WeatherPanel CAB dated 12/26/07 Named WP_TRIAL08_Fixed.CAB
I have removed WeatherPanel from my UC. I installed the app manually. Just like the above poster it still freezes on the green Win 6.1 boot screen.
The same thing happens when i install Pocket Plus. freezes and I end up hard resetting again and again.

Conversely, if I DO NOT install to the device and rather install to the Storage Card instead, it works.

It will not work if installed to device.
It only works if installed to the Storage Card.

Any idea why this is happening?
