Call sprint, *2 and ask to reprogram your phone. Takes 3 minutes and will work immediately afterwards.

GPS problems...

Like some others, having the same problem.

Installed the new rom without any hitches.
Location is on.
Data services seem to be working fine (IOTA)

I used the TeleNav as part of the rom and Google Maps, it will just not find any Sats.
It says GPS active (0), and never finds them.

I tried it inside, and mostly outside in different locations with the same result.

Is there something I am missing?

SIDE QUESTION:

What should the GPS settings be in TurboGPS? It asks for a port, but since it is internal, shouldn't there not be a port needed? I admit ignorance here...never F'd with GPS until today (and still haven't, cause it ain't working!)

Any thoughts, questions, answers and the obligatory rude remark are all greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes sir, mine totally eats up RAM like I've never experienced! Even after using SK Tools Free-Up RAM, using all 4 options, I still end up with less and less RAM through my day! I start with 19, when using SK Tools after startup, I get 22. It sucks though, that, within 4 hours, with regular usage, I end up with around 12-14mb! I use WisBar, so I'm sure applications are actually closed when I close them.

New Rom with TomTom

I upgraded to the new Rom all went well thus far everything works great I have one issue though could mostly be user error on my part, but when I use google maps or Live Search or the Sprint Nav the GPS works great however for TomTom it does not seem to find any gps connections unless I first start either Live Search or either one of the others when the GPS programs for TomTom finds the GPS units and Sats and works as normal once the connection is found I can close the other Nav Programs.

Has anyone found a way around this?

There are some user programs out there that open the GPS connection and then launch TomTom...search around and you'll find it.
