If you have the ruu update utility you could just drop the ruu_signed.nbh into it and run. I couldn't find my ruu update utility so I had a stock sprint rom. I extracted it (RUU_TITAN_SPRINT_WWE_2.17.651.0_RS_TITAN_SPCS_1.4 7.01_Ship) to a folder on my desktop and just replaced the stock sprint RUU_signed.nbh with the one I renamed from 3.16.651.0.nbh. Once I did this I had no errors or hangups on 11%.

First of all Id really like to thank KMART for posting this, and I think I speak for all of us. My GPS now works like a champ and Rev.A. is also working!!!

Once i get OZ working, short of the memory issue, which is not even a big issue...i will be completely satisfied with this phone.....I REALLY REALLY LOVE MY MOGUL NOW!!!!!

Thank you for the rom! loaded perfectly fine without any issues. Stromy in the bay area and i wished i thought about doing it on the laptop (had a black out on the last storm). All went well and im a happy camper

Question, i cant seem to get my Mio Map GPS software working(works fine when i use my external BT GPS). I tried connecting to the Program port but it does not detect. Does anyone know if there is a hardware port?(I think it requires the hardware port) i tried to change it but it will always default back to "(NONE)".

I'm gettin slower, not faster data connection speed.

checked w/ a few simple file transfers uploading to gmail, and www.dslreports.com/mspeed -- before I was running 2.09 I had around 250-400 kbps. Now? 50-100 kbps, same physical location. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Stock Rom: 2.17.671, using the update from here

The Updater ran smoothly, no errors (Mogul disconnects and only says 11%, PC continutes going up)

First Boot: Sprint Customizer takes about 2 minutes

Boot Screen, shows "Test Only"


My Device screen: Oddly, my Current Username is different than what it used to be - in the past it was nickname@sprint something. I'm not sure if this makes a difference.

Starting Google Maps for the first time. Note that it does take a while to find the satellites the first time around. GO OUTSIDE TO TRY THIS!


Google Maps working!!! It's about 10ft off from where I'm actually standing.


I've also confirmed that telephone calls are still working fine.

*Note that my brother also has a Mogul and first had several errors during the update process (error 270 communication error). He's also reporting trouble getting a signal and EVDO. so YMMV!
