Same thing happened to my one of my many TPs and they told me it was MY fault. That they couldn't fix it cuz it was on the board and that it would cost me 100 bucks with TEP.
I fought it and got a free replacement under manufacturer's warranty. It's a chinese made phone and they don't allow any room for defects?
Fight it bro.
Just sit there and keep asking for managers.

Actually its not...while the Evo is made in Taiwan(china), the Epic is made in Korea...aka its actually made in a place that has "standards"..but manufacturer defects exist regardless of where its made..thats just how it is...In worst case Samsung can fix it for free..and from what I hear they are very good at handling it..(Though I myself have not attempted it..yet..)

Wow... What a way to take things out of context... Read the story... I know where Samsung is made... However... I was referring to MY Chinese made TP in my story. Not the OP's epic.
I was sharing an experience closely related to the OP's nothing more.
The same argument could be made for Samsung. Everyone has standards. But QC can't possibly catch EVERYTHING that may not be up to standard.

Um..From the context I read it sounded like your telling him to fight it because its made in china and bound to have defects...

That said I accidantly misread TP as TEP...so thats why I assumed it was your Evo..so I fail there >.>
