Epic 4g, Bluetooth, and Win7 x64

I can't seem to send files from my Epic 4g to Win7 x64 PC. It doesn't complete the transfer and says that the operation can not be honored. I've had a BT 2.1 dongle and now a BT 3.0 and the same thing. Both are paired and connected to each other but just can't get the file transfer to work. Any ideas?

Re: Epic 4g, Bluetooth, and Win7 x64

I have wp7 x64 and bt works fine as well..did you configure permissions for file transfer? I think obex is its name...if you did and still dont work try deleting the device and repairing them.

Also what rom are you on?

Re: Epic 4g, Bluetooth, and Win7 x64

Thanks for the replies. I am running midNIGHT ROM v4.1 just like my sig states. I am able to transfer normally on my other Win7 computer, but can't seem to get it working on my Win7 x64. Haven't heard of obex, but I didn't configure anything on my other computer and it worked fine.

Try deleting the device and re-pairing them..also can you go the other way around and pc->epic rather then epic->pc?

Re: Epic 4g, Bluetooth, and Win7 x64

I've unpaired them several times and can't transfer any files either way, epic=>pc nor pc=>epic. They do connect normally though.

I mean delete the device completely...not just unpair..

Also take a screenshot of the Services tab in win7, when device is connected.

I've already tried all that and have also went investigating my services. I am not a newbie at this stuff; it's just one of those odd problems I can't figure out.

Hmmm I have those installed already, let me try that. Still think the problem is not my phone, its my x64 PC.
