My sales rep told my GF to activate a broken phone and use it for a few weeks then bring it in as broken.

I've did a TEP on an ebay phone same day...its no big deal..all they check is if its on your line and has TEP..

Funny, I remember when I had my TP2 and everyone was pissed at HTC and Sprint for taking so long to release WinMo 6.5 upgrade. It aint just Sammy.

Not taking it away, just changing the criteria. Quoting CNet:

I got my first phone in spring 1999 from sprint, but it was through Radio Shack so they refuse to accept that as the date. The date they use is either 2000 or 2001, I forget. must be 2000 cause they have me as a 10 year already.

Just looked it up, I bought my first Sprint phone, (a Q-Phone) in January 1998. The phone cost $589 with tax, and the service was $30 a month. I'd say that Sprint is a better bargain now than it was in 1998. Their phones are way better too!

Anyway, to get back on topic, how about to hell with 2.2.1, give us 2.3?

I want at least 2.3.2 since 2.3.1 has the same issue as 2.2.1

my phone in 99 was $35/mo and I kept that plan until 8/31/10.

Also remember that when we got the 6.5 upgrade on our TP2's we got Sense 2.5 to go with it. Everyone else had to get a cooked rom to get that after they got their 6.5 upgrade. Also HTC was never the hold up on the 6.5 upgrade, it was all Sprint.

I'll go further back to the Vogue. We got the 6.1 upgrade pretty darn quick after it was released from what I remember.

I just hope they keep grandfathering in my time with Nextel. Then I still will be silver since I started service in March of '03 and the only way I get over that $170 is if you add in the TEP's on my 3 lines.

Will we ever see GB on our phones? Just get us some Froyo.

Yup. That's how I got my epic. A 1 year replacement under premiere with sero.
