stock messaging sucks point blank and if that's what your using either forward any mail directly to gmail or maybe a market email app. many speak highly of k9, I've never used it

Re: Email Notification
I've been using K-9 Email for a couple of weeks now and it's great. Highly customizable and keeps my Gmail and Hotmail account up to date as often as I want. You can set the interval for how often it checks your mail from constant to once every 15 min, 30 min, hour, whatever. I also like that it lets you change the LED color for notifications. Now if I see the red LED blinking I know its a missed call, and if its blue I know its an email.
BTW if you do install K-9 make sure you uninstall any other email apps or you will get double notifications. |
