Email Notification
Well i got the epic on this past wednesday and one of the first things I did was set up my email on my yahoo account then went ahead and did my gmail. Since then I have been so caught up with all the things this amazing phone can do I havnt even thought about email. So last night I goto my yahoo mail and I have 10 unread emails, but the phone never notified me or rung or anything letting me know i had something. I have my notification ringtone set but that only goes off when I receive a text. Any suggestions here guys?

definitly check your account settings or delete the account and try again. is your phone sync settings on for the yahoo account? |

stock messaging sucks point blank and if that's what your using either forward any mail directly to gmail or maybe a market email app. many speak highly of k9, I've never used it |
Re: Email Notification
Do you have Juice Defender? If you kill you data while screen is off, I believe that's what causes the issue. I have the same issue with my gmail

BTW if you do install K-9 make sure you uninstall any other email apps or you will get double notifications. |
