Re: has 2.2 official been released?

okay....stupid question time:
If I'm running Midnight 3.1 can I use the stock usb tethering or would I have to pay sprint for that? In other words should I use pda net or stock?

But what OS is your .45 using? The latest leaked release from Heckler & Koch is STL1913 and for the bullets the radio in the Federal Hydra-Shok is P45GHS1. Without these critical upgrades the gun will just reboot endlessly and won't fire when needed to. Please post your Quadrant Benchmarks after your upgrades too, most people should see a 50% upgrade in bullet speed.

Remember to Click Thanks if I help you out in anyway...

There really is no reason to pay Sprint for any tether app. I use PDANet for USB tethering and its great. Its supports 4G but be aware that you need to pay for the full version or it will block secure websites (anything that starts with https://).

If you use the stock hotspot app from Sprint on any ROM you will be charged... use pdanet, wifi tether, or barnacle on any custom ROM and you'll be fine...

Re: has 2.2 official been released?

dont believe pdanet requires it but wifi tether does but wifi tether is free and its on the market.

Edit: Pdanet does not require to be rooted but the free edition limits you web access it will block mostly all https: pages you have to purchase the app to gain full access.

Wifi tether is free and does not limit any access.

Root the phone. Install the wifi tether app which is free on the market and you wont have any problems with the company. If for any reason you would have to turn it back in then unroot first before you hand it in.
