And - Oh please - did you really think I meant froyo from HTC (by posting a link to xda)? lol In fact my comment was more of an homage to chefs. The fact that non-paid chefs can get it working before the big whigs speaks volumes. Especially when the hardware was originally intended for a completely different platform. Yes there are other politics at play here - the fact that American Galaxy S hardware apparently shouldnt have even gotten the Galaxy S moniker due to the carriers being a bunch of babies. Blah blah. I've heard the story before (nokia anyone?) Coincidence that it happens to be an HTC phone? Probably |

Same way for Nokia phones oversees...you should see all the crazy things they got their Nokia phones to load up..more then the HD2... Right now people are familiarizing themselves with Samsung and hopefully in the Future with LG as well... Then we can take whoever gives us the best hardware and mix it up with the devs best software to accomplish "perfection" lol |

But I was referring more to the ****iness of the American carriers. There's a reason we don't see all the good Nokia hardware here (unless imported for the most part) - the carriers here want to be in the driver's seat and not just some dumb pipe. Sadly this is something only Apple appears to have been able to do to ATT with the iPhone. Hopefully Samsung (and other manufacturers) will just tell the American carriers to take it or leave it. |

I talked to my leaker last night. I told him that people are upset seens Sprint being a hogging hore with froyo. So I asked him, if he has a new release date that he knows of. He said at the moment Sprint hasnt given another date. So anyways I asked him why in the world is Sprint doing to it. He said another sprint employee said it was because wiimax is not 100% functioning on froyo. How true is this? I have no clue, but this leaker did give me a dk28 info before xda released. After dk28 was said not to be released but skipped to final.
