Well, thats it for me. Im beggining in going bananas on the wait , I even odin to stock locked on sunday. So I went dk28 and im settling till its out. I hate this back and forth crappola.

I'm probably in the minority here. But after all the dysfunctional crap I lived with on my TP for two years, I'm still delighted with the performance I get on my stock 2.1(rooted) Epic. It's definitely not broke IMO and I'm in no hurry to fix anything or move up. Just curious to see what gets better.

dk28 with this mod/rom is one reason to try dk28

i hold that same thoughts as you on this. i have been with this phone platform under HTC/winmo since the Apache and can honestly say that this samsung is better in everyway...including it's android software that is waiting an update. i have no real complaints, just a desire to have the newest and best in hardware & software. i feel that im there with the hardware and to be honest i dont have much to complain about...especially coming from winmo. when it comes i will upgrade, but as is...im satisfied and happy.

Im exactly in you guys kayak too. Epic witj stock 2.1 blows away any Htc phone with wm 5,6,6.1,6.5 by I gazzullion times. And out the box, it works 100%. No tweaking, no modding, no hacks, no painting battery covers, no chipping chrome, no dead pixels,no lausy high failure rate lcd screens, no blown speakers, no broken bt, no crippled 3d driver less components. It just works good and super hardware accelarated. With Htc phones, we had to beg for unlocking gps_one chip, beg for 3d drivers for the Imageon chip (in which we never got). With htc, you paid half a grand and got a half locked device that runs incredibly slow. Good bye htc scum sucking dagay madafakas! Go to hell!
