Re: Galaxy S uprade 2.2

Seems like our best option is to wait for the normal Sprint release. I am kind of forcing myself to do that.

Sorry for going off topic lol
Maybe XDA is rubbing off on me, but I think you might have a reading comprehension problem...re-read what I wrote

I won't necessarily agree with that...the Froyo DJ29 leak is definitely worth trying out. Make sure you do all those wipes before flashing. I've been running it for a while now and haven't had any issue so far..

Re: Galaxy S uprade 2.2

Has anyone heard more about the 11/14 release? Is that when we are going to get the official release or is that still just speculation?

Lol! You havent been in my shoes sir.

I myself have noticed that they have been a bit horish with leaks. Mogul gps fix leak was held back for a month before they released it. But they do gives up more than keep.

(zulu) "ohhh maaaiiiiiii"

Im so impressed with the beta leak of froyo for our Epic. I finally got it installed this morning and so far it had exceeded my expectations. Its faster, smoother and 4g works almost flawless. I have not come across any bugs besides the native browser sometimes shows me the checkered pattern. But 4g is being tested in my city and under eclair it would connect and disconnect very frequently. Very unreliable. But now with this froyo update out has been 100% connected without any drops. Amazing! The 10$ fee has been rewarded! The 3d gallery has a better kinetic scroll and loads three pics fastereeesssttttt! Gps is more accurate! But 4g has blown me away! Everyone should their this I'm! Thanxs austin, I read out from you first about the leak. You deserve a llama pat on your fur.

4g still going!strong!

Re: (zulu) "ohhh maaaiiiiiii"

Yeah I noticed 4g is smoother on this version overall..

Issues Ive seen so far:

- Checkerboards a little..no big deal
- Appdrawer on TW is a little laggy..
- There is a 0.5-1 sec lag on the bootscreen

Otherwise its stable...

Also they did a 4.2 update to it today if you didn't see it.

And Ive seen in froyo you can recalibrate your accelemeter so prob fix your 24 degrees issue.

Dont forget to get Adobe AIR too

Lastly..Im merging this post >.> lol
