Getting audio from speaker and headphones at same time

Okay, this just started happening a couple days ago and its incredibly irritating. When I plug in headphones to my Epic and start watching/listening to something, the audio comes out the speaker and the headphones at the same time. It doesn't matter what headphones I'm using - it even happens with the Samsung headset. I've tried re-plugging the headphones about 100 times, and I did notice that the speaker gets quieter when they are plugged in, so its gotta be detecting them. I've looked around for an answer, but the only one I've found is "reboot your phone". Rebooting does solve the problem temporarily, but it comes back. I think its ridiculous to reboot the damn thing every time I want to use headphones, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks!

I'm not sure. I installed a handful of games recently, but I don't remember what I installed before and after it started.

You may have to do a factory reset to get rid of the problem permanently.

When this bug happened to my epic, I actually liked it. I was playing mp3s via the head phone jack to my car stereo jack port.So music was coming out my car speakers and my epics speakers.have it a sorround sounch effect to it. I tried to replicate the bug but was unsuccessful. What did give me the big was a phone call came in and I put the call on speaker.once I hanged up, mp3 music continued but the phone get the audio on on the epic.
