hmmm, well i never had the issue on this rom but im not on it now so your call on flashing other cooks stuff. im just glad its not phone.

Having issues with Picture mail. I went and installed the stockmms.zip still receiving mms trasaction failed when someone tries to send me a picture.

i reflashed when had trouble with MMS and it seemed to work ok after that but it stopped working again for me recently. I can receive, just not send.

Moved temperately to another ROM and I don't have that issue anymore.

thanx rob for squeezing in some time to drop another rom. im going to nascar race this sat/sun and "Autism awareness" is the races main goal so if ya got a minute this sunday check out race on fox and look at all autism banners ect.

This rom is smooth as hell new update is great just took forever to get my Facebook to link contacts up but other than that great this should hold me over for a while or new phone since I feel development might start slowing down for epic so yeah but everyone enjoy robs last present k peoples

I installed 5.3 but the email.apk kept FCing on me, so I went back to 5.2 until I have more time to play with it.

I have another theme almost ready, so I want to get that finished first.

Anybody else having battery issues. I did a complete wipe yesterday before installing and my battery is just crap. Tried installing again today at lunch and I'm having the same issue. Didn't seem to drain nearly this bad with 5.2

sooo, Netflix released a version for android that doesn't block it from working on unsupported phones. Anybody get it working on 5.3?

does anyone else experience crackling sound when touching the screen? not that the touch causes a crackling sound, but that when a sound is playing, touching the screen causes it to crackle?

easy way to reproduce on my handset is going in to choose a ring tone and playing it.. while it is playing, scroll through the other ring tones...

crackle crackle...

i loaded the new bonsai rom and the issue was gone.

I prefer this ROM however and was hoping someone may be able to provide some insight.

never read about it here or xda or when i used robs roms, is it all ringtones and only ringtones? im a ringtone junkie and i try all at one time or another so im positive i would have noticed and im sure i would have noticed other actions if "crackling" sound was there. also odd cause im 99% sure robs base for his roms is bonsai so you may have speaker going bad and its intermittent at this point.

same thing for any sound.. if i touch the screen when sound is playing, i get the distortion. 5.3 and 5.5 have done the same thing. Bonsai rome seem fine. I odin back to stock eb13 and then take the ECo5 over the air update bofore re-rooting and updating the rom. all caches cleared each time.

Hi

Since moving from ver 5.2 to 5.3 I am not able to get voice mail notification on my phone (can call in for voice mail to see if there are messages) and camera locks phone up. Any suggestions? Thanks!

gv works fine and camera issue i never had so i would reflash or dl rom again cause i have had bad dl's.

Flashed 5.3 again. Camera works, no voice message alert. Sprint tech support exhausted what they can try over the phone and have referred me to a local sprint repair center. Will I have to go back to stock ROM when I bring it in.? Any ideas on how to get the voice message alert? Is there a zip file I can try to re-install other than the entire ROM? Thanks.

Yes you gotta return it to stock if you going to sprint..alternatively have you tried using Google Voice for voicemail?

Thanks. gTen. I need to flash the ROM and start all over. Now, my voice mail is not accessible even to Sprint. The want me to reinstall. Which midNIGHT ROM version should I install that is stable and best features? I have 5.3 now.

I also wondered the differences between midNIGHT ROM and Bonsai, since Rob uses Bonsai as his base. There is a newer version of Bonsai, is that "better"? Thanks.

Don't know if it's better per-say , but there are newer versions of bonsai.
