It might be something we're doing when installing the rom maybe, not sure.

i just tried the "quick boot" app and recovery went to cwm.

It does for us as well, but it's not seeing the SD card.

Did you ever see CW2.5.5.2 like in the instructions? I only saw CW2.5.1.2 unless that was a typo in the instructions.

ya it see's sd, thats how i flashed journey mod.

You actually flashed journal mod from CW2.5 not CW3.0, which is the one that doesn't see the SD card when using Quick Boot.

this is odd now or maybe i missed something, we used to NOT be able to use cw3 to flash the mod and op states here:
1) Odin back to Stock DK28 (not extended version)
2) Do the oneclickroot with CW2.5 redirector
3) Flash midNIGHT ROM v2.9 and let it boot
4) Using Quickboot boot into recovery (this should now be CW2.5.5.2)
5) Flash the no journaling/EXT4 formatter
6) Flash midNIGHT v2.9.2 and enjoy.
and to use old cwm (green) which always worked for me no issues so now i wanted to experiment (i guess) so i odin'd to dk28 did the cw3 dl and off fresh cw3 i wiped and flashed mod WITH CW3 and then flashed new rom and rebooted with no issues. am i the only one that can flash mod through cw3 or is this the norm? we never were able to flash the mod with cw3 so im curious. bottomline, i never used anything but cw3 to flash mod or rom.

i always cwm3 to flash all mods. Cwm3 works great for me. Oh and by the way if anyone didnt know, you can do the 3 finger salute into the orange cwm3 and go to install zip from sd card and apply update and it will take you to the green cwm.

well were talking "no journal mod" and that mod used to NOT flash with green cwm. this is from op, Using Quickboot boot into recovery (this should now be CW2.5.5.2)

I tried this but seems after applying v2.9.2 ROM zip, it gets only to the Samsung Screen.
