Re: Extended Batteries **3000mAH ext Batt finally here.

Purchase a 1600mAH extended battery:

Seidio Innocell 1600mAh Slim Extended Life Battery for Samsung Epic 4G / Fascinate / Vibrant

$49 and keep the same size slim form factor with stock battery cover...

or you could get the 3000mAH extended battery:

seidioonline.com

$69.95 and turn your phone into a size of a brick...Imo I don't think this is neccessary considering the DK28 rom I think the 1600 would be the best buy. Because the back cover just looks ugly. But I still do recommend it to those who won't be anywhere near power for a while.. Such as camping...or hiking.. sure you need it. Also it adds a rugged casing to help it withstand minor shocks.

@revaaron
I don't see why that you shouldn't. But you can't start a "yo momma" fat jokes after you do.

Re: Extended Batterys

Will the extended battery fit into a Seidio holster?

Re: Extended Batterys

I keep reading that the 1600mah battery adds hours to your phone. How? I mean it's less than 10% more juice...

I do like that it doesnt add extra bulk and Amazone has it currently for $43 with free shipping I think.

Re: Extended Batterys

Judging at the thread over at xda and this independant site calling out false battery Ma claims,
I deciced to stick with OeM brand, so I ordered this Samsung battery.
Total cost was $39.39
EDIT notes:
Sansung battery is 1650ma.
This is best option for closest to rated Ma.
Highest quALITY compare to all after market brands.

Both Seido and Mugen overrate their batteries hugely..
No-name ebay extendid batteries are lucky to give you half rated Ma...
$20-25 for no names are almost as good as the 2 name brands mentioned above that sell for twice that.

EDIT 2: links in my sig are for the TP2
I bought battery for my brother's Epic.

Re: Extended Batterys

So after comparing costs, I did pick up a 1600ma battery since I figured the OEM was about the same price and the reviews on Amazon seemed positive.
I just can't bring myself to turn my Epic into a lop-sided brick with the bigger batteries...
