The speakers are not blowing out. The people that are having issues are playing music with the volume at 100% which is causing clipping. The fix is to turn the volume down a little. This only occurs when using the 3.5 mm jack. There is no popping with the regular speaker.

Re: For those about to defect to Droid (or android)
The Droid looks pretty impressive (if a little heavy), but my Omnia is still cutting edge enough for me. Think I'll let the Android OS mature a little more before I even consider jumping from WM.

Hi guys, for those of you that have the Droid already, how does the browser compare to the Iphone? I know the pinch to zoom isnt there, but how about the experience in general?

http://www.engadget.com/2009/11/15/d...-be-a-softwar/ I played with the HTC Droid from Sprint, that is real nice and the screen is bright and clean! Did not have a chance to mess with the OS too much, but very fast! Especially fast compared to the Omnia. Last edited by jcurley; 11-24-2009 at 12:40 PM. |
