i just flashed to cc20 and it works. didn't soft reset.

yes...in the thread where i got the files the instructions say to soft reset after u install....

are u gettin an error message when u click connect?

no errors on omnia.
limited connectivity is shown on pc and unable to connect to internet

check this thread I went step by step with a guy having a similar problem...ultimately uninstalling and re-installing got him up and running but maybe u can find a solution it the thread that u haven't tried yet

i have xp so many things are different in that thread.

i don't get it, it's basically plug-n-play every other time i used it.
i am installing just the two files directly to windows in both roms. works in cc20, but not in cf03.
shouldn't need to go further into internet settings, i wouldn't think.


EDIT: it is working now. not sure what the problem was. we're in business, verizon is back of my sh*t list

when you flsash your phone, does it erase your sd card too? or do i need to remove my sd card before i flash? I have backup but rather not have to remove it.
