If you find a way to do this you could call it "Pocket Warmer" I reckon. I'm not making fun of your desire but just pointing out that the WiFi radio uses a lot of power, especially when you're out of range of a wireless network. Ted

Re: Question for Anyone
Your phone will be dead every 20 mins. It should be on connect as needed. Not unless you know how to hook up a car battery to your phone.

Re: Question for Anyone
I've had the WiFi on for up to 6 hrs using standard battery. I've been using my phone to map the range and quality of my home wireless router with booster and repeater devices. So, I'm not complaining about battery life, I'm only asking if there is a way to do this.
