Samsung's Omnia i910 Verizon to Alltel?

If anyone can tell me how to get my newly purchased Verizon omnia i910 to work with Alltel's service, I would greatly appreciate it. I bought the phone on ebay thinking since verizon and alltel have merged, I would be able to use it on Alltel, but they tell me they can't activate it. I SERIOUSLY want to play with my new toy! Please help...

Re: Samsung's Omnia i910 Verizon to Alltel?

Those are for GSM Omnias. Not any help for CDMA.

I have my Omnia fully flashed to Cricket. The same steps could be used to reprogram it to Alltel if you knew all Altel's usernames/passwords etc.

You will Need Samsung PST and the i910 dll, not QPST.

Cricket resells VZW airtime. Altel was a different carrier.

No they don't. They are completely independent of Verizon and have their own towers. Yet I still have WAP/MMS running
