Re: Beta rom
I decided to take the plunge, this rom sounds like a nice improvement. I went to install the modem driver, I got the correctly named file off the cd and it is a .msi file. I went to install it on my computer (vista) with the phone connected and I get a pop up that says I can't install from .msi directly, I have to install from exe. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Edit: I figured it out and ran the exe file that was next to the file on the disk. Last edited by faustus; 04-09-2009 at 10:23 PM. |

Windows Activesync Verizon Access Manager Manual/Guide The CDMA drivers are located in the VZW Access Manager disc, mine was in a red envelope. Hope that helps |

I was able to get everything to work great... but then i was in the windows folder(looking through file explorer)and i accidentially clicked on a file that said weatherbug.xml or something like that and it disapeared and now weahter bug wont detect any city input or anything. Can someone copy that file from there windows directory and post here, or is there any other suggestion or advice?

Re: Beta rom
Success!!! I have to say that I have flashed my XV6800 hundreds of times but I forgot how stressful first-time flashing is. LOL there were a few minutes while it was flashing and the progress bar would restart and my heart skipped a beat. I can't wait for the kitchens!
