Got everything running, my signal is really strong and way too strong that others can see my wifi connection. is there anyway anyone could edit this program to have key locked just like all wifi. stiil my ps3 will not detect my wifi with WMwifirouter even dpugh it has extremely strong signal. ANy help!!??

The HTC wifi program has WEP encryption. Adryn even cooked it into one of his recent test ROMs. It's floating around here (and Modaco) somewhere. If you can't find it let me know and I'll dig through the archives and find it for you

I've been using ICS for the past 8ish months, everything works great. I even get faster speeds using blutooth instead of usb! This way I can keep it plugged into the wall(ICS eats batteries).

I called up verizon asking about my bill, the girl commented on my 24gigs downloaded, she said, "Wow, you have 24gigabytes used on your data, but, you have unlimited so that doesn't affect anything." I was shocked, but, also very relieved.

i had wmwifirouter working at one point, but now even though it says "ready" on the top, under Wifi it says searching, and neither my ds or my laptop can find the network. Why would it say searching under wifi if Im using the phone's internet to send it out through wifi, and not the other way around?

The ICSinstall works good, but the reason I want to use the wifirouter one is so I can connect my ds to the internet, and it doesnt have a usb connection like a laptop does....

I have used the Comm manager that Sector ported to get wireless internet to my laptop. There is a WiFi Router built in (it's from HTC). It's finicky though. Eventually though it will connect. I was also able to connect another PPC to the internet (an iPaq, controls my irrigation system in the field, pretty cool!). It just takes some time to get it. I don't know exactly what i did to get them working, I think time and letting the prog do it's thing.

I have a question. When I click the link to install the ICSInstall.cab and say to "open" the file, it doesn't automatically install but shows me a variety of files. How do I install it on my computer?

I'm confused...are you trying to install the ICSInstall.cab to your computer? It wont run on your computer, it is for Windows Mobile. The program allows you to use your windows mobile phone as a modem to access the internet with your computer. Once installed on your phone, you need to install the modem drivers (came with the phone in a CD) to your computer. Then the computer will see the phone as a modem and use it to access the internet.
