Yea I just saw that going through the options!! It seems like my battery is taking a bit longer to charge then usual, but it could be the placebo effect

why couldn't you remove Moxier Mail? just change the version number. MoxierMail-2.1.36.1.apk is the name of the new apk in CL14.
cat /system/app/MoxierMail-2.1.36.1.apk > /sdcard/backup/MoxierMail-2.1.36.1.apk
rm /system/app/MoxierMail-2.1.36.1.apk

i also have noticed the battery life is better but now that Use Wireless Networks, aGPS, works in CL14, I have had that running with google maps latitude in the background and its been killing my phone after 10-12 hours. i have it turned off today to confirm its the culprit!

Re: Samsung Moment Maintenance Release - CL14

so i took my phone to get updated today and have my sprint navigation looked at that hasnt worked since day one. They had it for an hour while i was at lunch got back walked out side and boom gps work . was very happy till i got in my car and it stopped. and said No gps, please move to open area .... WTF let me quote "This update includes:
  • Network Assist GPS to allow indoor location fix
  • Updates to several third-party apps, including Visual Voicemail, NFL, NASCAR and Sprint TV
  • Change to Emergency Dial on lock screen
  • Hard reset available in recovery mode: remove and reinsert battery; press volume down, send and end keys until reboot option pops up; scroll to wipe data/factory reset; press OK
  • Various improvements to battery life"
so i guess ill be back tomorrow this is pissing me off. I know i have read people saying theirs works fine prior to the update (mine didnt) now it works but i have to be standing in the open kinda defeats the purpose

Question is how does yours work prior to update and now if you have the update

Re: Samsung Moment Maintenance Release - CL14

I just ordered a brand new moment for my girlfriend. How can I tell when the box gets here if it already has the update or not?

Click Menu > Settings > About Phone

Scroll down and the "Baseband Version" and "Build Number" should both end with "CL14"

Mine is the same as yours. I had to put my phone way up on my dash before it picked up a satellite GPS signal. At that location, I can't read the screen. Useless. Mounted it back close to me, no GPS. aGPS works, but it locates me on cell towers, not triangulated. This leaves error of 1/2 to 2 miles depending on my location. I imagine it is worse in rural or less covered locations.

GPS was bad before and is bad after. My TP locked GPS signals indoors.

Re: Samsung Moment Maintenance Release - CL14

so i took my phone back to sprint said the sprint navigation isnt working, they said it just needs to be updated " what they did yesterday" so i left it with them for 3 hours came back and was informed my phone is broke will have a new one tomorrow so if ur having alot of problems even after the update i would make them really look at it you might need another one
