what files/theme are you putting in windows? manila or s2u2 or g alarm? taskbar? 4 manila2d you have to extract the files within the windows folder (my zip) and put to your windows. so to clarify, it should NOT be (your device)windows\windows\(my theme files) but my theme files directly in your windows. for s2u2, put my theme files in programs\s2u2\gfx\(my theme files for s2u2) for galarm its, programs\ageye\galarm\skins(i thinks off the top my head) there should be a readme.txt inside the zip files that have instructions. and also i already explained the instrutions for the taskbar on the 1st page some where. hope thats helps

Re: (THEME) ONYXtwistedLIME (QVGA wm6.1){M2D, S2U2, G-Alarm}
this theme looks great! but I must have missed something (yes i'm new to this). I unzipped the m2d file using total commander then copied the contents of your windows folder to my device/windows and soft reset. nothing changed. i'm on an alltel ppc6800, stock wm6.1 rom.
edit: I went to see my "friend", mr. google, and realized that it would help if I loaded m2d first. i'm running update 20 from xda, but total commander says it can't copy/move the files from the windows folder extracted from the zip to my devices windows folder. edit 2: problem solved. found and downloaded m2d customizer and was able to add the zip as a new theme. looks great now! Re: (THEME) ONYXtwistedLIME (QVGA wm6.1){M2D, S2U2, G-Alarm}
Great work, but I have a little problem. On my Trinity with WM6.1 the icon for the battery-status is always on power, so I will not see the percentages from my battery power. But that's not all, my device behaves as if the main power plug is inserted. My device turns not off. When I tap on the power-button and the power-windows opens it shows nothing, no statusbar and no percentage number. I have a German ROM and I have changed the notify.dll.0409.mui to notify.dll.0407.mui
What is wrong? |

Re: (THEME) ONYXtwistedLIME (QVGA wm6.1){M2D, S2U2, G-Alarm}
OK, I solved my problem. I uninstalled the battery-driver and now it works.
But I have a new problem. The icon for the radio reception is the original WM6.1 icon, not the new taskbar icon. But if I have no GSM-signal I can see the yellow icon. Has someone a solution for that? Last edited by Myxin; 06-19-2009 at 03:12 PM. |

if you go to the custom taskbar thread (its a sticky) you will find maybe sum useful instructions to edit them out yourself as well as a link to xda-developers thread on taskbars more towards GSM. i hope that will help you, (sorry) i have put all my projects on hold, as free time has ceased to exist in my life for the moment. |

Yes, you're right, I have a GSM phone. It seems to be the problem and I will search by the devs for customizing my taskbar. But one question to you: why are the icons in qvga not so clear, they seems to be blurry. Have you convert to 16x16 or have you every icon separately edited?
