as for the dialer skin... i wouldn't even bother with it.. the one for the Mogul looks good enough for me (i guess it's the same for WM5/WM6?), and matches my default Comm Manager style.
I love my theme but even with all of the steps i've taken to keep it "lightweight" it still does not perform well enough to justify having it. My next step is to try to re-save all of my graphics files in Photoshop and reduce the quality to yield smaller file sizes. Same goes for the backgrounds. If that improves it, but not enough, then I will wait for an overclocking app to come out for the mogul. My last resort is to just go back to default and learn how to use the start menu.. haha |

Thas the same thing I did Maxi.
Surprisingly I went back to the boring default mogul. And I was in love with this theme, showed it off to a bunch of people. I think if it wasnt for this theme I would have returned my mogul. The default is just so boring and tenidious to get to certain programs. But this Iphone theme runs entirely too unstable. I have dealt with it for weeks but I had my last straw yesterday. When as always going to use the slide out keyboard 9/10 would crash the entire device. I love this theme but again its like having a MERCEDES BENZ on the outside but a 1973 Elderado on the inside. All the beauty means nothing if you can't get from point A to point B |

Guys keep in mind the mogul is relatively new so the mad scientists are for sure working on overclocking apps.
using photoshop i decreased the resolution of my images, while keeping them high res enough so that they still look good and this noticeably improved the slideout delay. Also, you Mogul guys should try the following if you haven't: Go to your registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\ and then change the value of 'limit' from 8192 to 32768. Then soft reset. Divide that by half if it uses too much RAM for your liking. |

Well I'm PPC illiterate, so is there an up to date download with all the various patches and fixes done in the past few pages? It's probably quite simple but reading all this stuff has got me quite confused. It's a beautiful interface though.
Thanks Mike |
