Thanks Eidolen! This was pretty helpful! Of course, I am posting a question about another manila file. It is the clock one. I was wondering if there was something special about them? I just get the infamous white box around my clock!

TIA!

Re: HOW TO: Customize TouchFLO3D / Manila Themes

@Eidolen or anyone who might help a gal out... I have become frustrated with editing the manila files that should be easy to do as just about everyone does them.. for example the flip clock file that has the call history/calendar/alarm and flipback base 1bbsomethingsomething.. All I did was put a color overlay to get the icon portion red... merge visible and save.. but when I put it back in manila editor I it "grows" so that the flip backs are larger and the icons are cut in half by the edge of the screen. Similar to the cutoff problem I've had with heros/tray icons.. I worked around those by guessing smaller image sizes and importing until it didn't cut off.. but what is wrong with exporting changing color and replacing.. I didn't move a thing! What trick am I missing?

Re: HOW TO: Customize TouchFLO3D / Manila Themes

This is so awesome - I finally had the time to work on this and decided to just change a few things vs every single file.

I found the prettiest icons on xda called Blossom Blue:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...13&postcount=1

But all I've wanted was a pretty green theme, and that seems to be a color people stray from. So I did some changes, my only issues are:
- my slider is off centered.
- The Glassclock cab doesn't seem to want to work on it or change the clock.
- I have the dang one Sprint TV tab again
- And even with the Personalizer, I cant get rid of the Sprint Logo.

What I'm gonna try is to change a theme with the Diamond program and then recopy my windows files, and see what happens. I'll let ya know.
But now that I know what to do - I will be meticulous and make me an awesome Green Theme!!!

Here's a copy of my today screen:

Here is a cab to remove the sprint logo and one for the clear background of the clock (not glass). I think the Sprint TV icon thingie is actually a png file in windows... search the pngs and change that out to what you want. Are you wanting to flip clock? You have to do the sprint2flip clock first then the glass clock. Also beware if you use personalizer you won't be able to receive picturemail, somehow it breaks that portion...

Re: HOW TO: Customize TouchFLO3D / Manila Themes

Hey...thanks for the tutorials on customizing TouchFlo 3d. I am having a problem using Manila editor. When I try to copy my new manila file back to my phone, I receive an error stating I am not allowed to copy - access is denied, and I should make sure there is enough memory or that I have sufficient permission to copy the file or it is not set to read only. I have made sure the folder on both the phone and my PC are set to show all files, because I previously could not see all the manila files. Is there something else I need to set? Thanks!

Make sure TF3D is disabled prior to transferring files. Start > Settings > Today > Items > Uncheck TouchFlo 3D

Use a program like Total Commander .. move the files to your storage card using active sync then use total commander to move the files to your windows directory, it will allow you the option to overwrite the files.
