Or back up your device before installing the new skins. Also, over at XDA someone has posted the original Mobile Shell .dat files that will restore your Mobile Shell to "factory settings".

the scrolling through with finger swipes dosent work on my verizon xv6900 any ideas why?

thanks for the help, but ive copied the files into spb folder and whether i extract them into the sbc folder or copy the individual files into it, neitehr one askes for an obverwrite so i must be doing somehting wrong. when i open up the spb folder i have spb and themes as the only folders. could that be a problem? im assumimng im in the right plqace. thanks

Hey Coz your one of the Treo 700wx embasadors here at PPC geeks. I tried to get this theme to work on my 700wx earlyer and had a few issues. I see that over at xda developers they corrected some of the issues. I was wanting to know if any of the instructions change in how to load it for it to work on the 700wx ? I would like to see a thread on the 700wx thread that has to do with themes created for other sorts of phones once they are converted and work on the 700wx.

Nope...instructions are universal for Mobile Shell. So if you have a 700wx just follow the directions and you should be good to go!

I think that is a great idea! That Mobile Shell thread over XDA is like 200+ pages long. It was a real PIA to go through it looking for help for 240X240 screens!

Let's start finding some themes and we can get a sticky going.

On my phone, if I open up file explorer and select "My device" and go to "Program Files\SPB Mobile Shell" there are no other sub-folders, only a bunch of files. qa_bkg_now.dat, qa_layouts.dat, etc. It's all those .dat files that need to be replaced.

Can some Please help me !!!!!!!!!i can't convert this File on the bottom into a .dat file. I download this zip file from my phone and save it as qa_weather_description.dat. When i Try to extract the file it asks for a password which was given to me on this post. I unlock the files but it is not converted into a .dat. I really need the description on the bottom for the weather. So can some show me step by step instructions on how to convert it PLEASEEEEEEEEEE Thanks.

qa_weather_description.zip

No need to convert anything. Change from .zip to .dat and then put the .dat file on your phone in Program Files\SPB Mobile Shell, then soft reset.
