try this for the pasword, its the editing password, I wouldn't think you need to use it for renaming but if you do try it:

All you should be doing is renaming the file and copying it to your spbmobile shell directory and accept the overwrite. No double clicking!

crap i keep reading over this entire thread and i cant get this theme to appear. ive extracted files into sbc folder. fonts into windows/fonts but when i go to themes all i have to choose from are the colors. no diamond. help please

Thanks, so you rename it to .dat but you dont extract the files right and copy the zip files to SPB Mobile Shell. Am i correct.

hmm... i'm struggling with the install of this. I have mobile shell 2.1 and i downloaded the zip that has been posted hear and at xda. i sent them to my phone and just saved them on my storage card. now where does it go? help would be appreciated

It looks nice but I feel like the original functioning better. The original SPB mobile 2.1 you could switch between those windows , Time, Calendar, App, Weather and Fav by sliding your finger to left or right. But the diamond add in couldn't do that, it stay as the same window. I only can change by pressing the icons on the bottom of the screen.

okay i figured it out... i'm a big fan of mobile shell as it is... and i'm not a fan of this skin. no offense, well done, just not for me. how do i get back to the original

If you did not back up the SPB MS files that were replaced, then the easiest way to get back to original is to remove Mobile Shell from your ppc then reinstall MS.

Did you try layout C? It will swipe left and right.

You have to copy and paste the contents of "Files" folder into spb folder, not the "Files" folder itself. Same with "Fonts". Don't copy the folder, just the contents. You know you are doing it right when copying the files in "Files" folder if it asks you to replace files. You have to answer "Yes" about 30 times or so. After files are transfered, you have to do a soft reset before it starts using the new theme.
