Help

Okay, I think I found my problem. I can't figure this stuff out on my own, but I'm pretty good with the step by step stuff. Two people have told me to drop the tsk. files into the "windows" folder in the my mobile device folder. In my mobile device folder the closest thing I have to that is in program files there is a file called "windows media player". Am I missing something? That is the only thing remotely close to anything that says windows.

You are running Microsoft ActiveSync on your PC computer right? If so, plug your PPC6700 (I assume this is what you have) into your computer. ActiveSync should open. On the front panel there is 'Sync', 'Schedule', and 'Explore'. Click 'Explore'.

This should open up a window titled "Mobile Device". Inside this window there should be several folders like "Business", "My Music", "My Pictures" and several others. There should also be a little icon that looks like a pda that is called "My Windows Mobile-Based Device". Double click on "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" to open it.

Now drag and drop the the .tsk file into the folder named "Windows".

Once you've done that, go to your PPC6700, go to Start/Settings/Today and select your theme.

You can also place the TSK files in the My Documents folder. I actually created a My Documents\Themes for all my TSK theme files.

Great screenshots BTW!

I d/l'ed the file and it is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I tried to make this theme with themegence for 2 1/2 hours yesterday and could never figure out how to get the top and bottom bars black!
How did you do it? what program did you use?
Thanks again!!!

I had to delete your image because I don't have enough on-line time yet I guess...

Where did you get that cool MS Activesync? Is it a skin? Or is it some sort of beta version?

Yeah, it is a theme. I can't remember where I downloaded it from but if you do a search for xp xbox theme you should be able to find it relatively easily. They're simple to install and you don't need any other software to install or use them. If you can't find anything let me know and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

Just download the zip file in the first post. Unzip the file and there will be a tsk file. Place that tsk file in your device.
