Re: New Touch Pro 2 not worth upgrade, must read!
It's said to be slower according to what I read, but besides that, it's also the same specs, and since alot of us have had a taste of TF3D2, it wouldn't really be compelling without upgrading the guts within the device... Which is why I ain't gonna budge and keep my TP1 until something better comes along. Only thing that it was supposed to come with is GSM mode besides also being CDMA, but it looks like it'll be far less compelling than I could imagine.

Re: New Touch Pro 2 not worth upgrade, must read!
I didnt read every comment, but one other thing to note is that the speaker phone on the TP2 will be much improved.
Tilting screen - check 3.6 " scnree - check larger keyboard - check Improved speakerphone - check Almost every complaint about it is solved. Ram is not an issue with TP1. Sure, it could use a boost to CPU speeds and internal ROM space, but hardly a deal breaker. |

Re: New Touch Pro 2 not worth upgrade, must read!
1- TP1 lagged in performance cuz the CPU could barely handle the VGA screen, i cant imagine how it would perform on WVGA with older CPU and less RAM .....
2- pple complain on battery life on TP only to upgrade to a device with WORST hahaha 3- everybody says that apple brainwashes pple with a ****ty product andy et pple still want to buy this cuz they are mainly seduced by the screen... good work HTC Im gonna open a "I Told You So" thread the minute the Rhodium section is opened =D> Quote:

+1 for 8820, umma wait 2 KB and bigger screen arent good nuff, phuk dat. A combo of a good battery performance and a a 512MB RAM will be an incentive, other than that , HTC and Sprint can forget it ....

I'm gonna hold true to what blasphemous and mr8820 state. I'm gonna go ahead and wait for the next rendition. WiMax soon to be available, WinMo7 may need different hardware specs. Bigger screen is sexy, I like the new keyboard size, just not enough for me to upgrade. Now, if my phone takes a puke (knock on wood, only 1 replacement so far) and they give me a TP2 then I had no choice but to upsell 1 of my buddies for 1 of theirs (TP1) and cash! LOL. We'll see what happens.

Re: New Touch Pro 2 not worth upgrade, must read!
Don't forget the bigger screen (more pixels to draw) will require more processing / graphics power in which the Touch Pro 2 does NOT have. In other words, expect more lag / sluggishness.
