Re: New Touch Pro 2 not worth upgrade, must read!
I would get the new Touch Pro 2 if I could get it for the same price I paid for my TP, which was $1.05 brand new from Sprint. I have a $150 credit towards a new phone if I chose. But I like my smaller TP, it works great and with all my hacks and tweaks, the battery last most of the day with mild use. I'm waiting for a snapdragon 1 ghz or more phone with wm7 or better.

I just wish they managed to include a face detector/sensor so i wouldn't have to worry about my face dialing on the touch screen. That drives me crazy. New hardware- same problem.

I use s2u2 and I have it set to turn off the screen during calls, works great and if I need the dialpad, I just tap the power button.

Yes, there are many alternatives, but they are really fixes for a really basic problem. I shouldnt HAVE to find a utility (especially something as awesome as S2U2).
WHOOPS. I just read that the TP2 HAS a proximity sensor. NICE. That was the only things holding me back. Last edited by straylight; 06-12-2009 at 03:09 PM. |
