Hopefully Sprint will let me swap for a TP2 4 months after it comes out. I have returned 3 Touch Pro because the keyboard stopped working and 2 others because of the Rainbow square on the screen. I'm tired of going to the Sprint store waiting for them to ship a new phone for me. I have bad luck with the Pro 1. That alone is a good reason for me to get the TP2

Here's how I look at it. Yes they may be the same and the TP is a good phone but look at what most of us have had to do to make the TP a great phone(i.e. ROM, reg edits, custom whatever etc. etc.) You get the hint. My point is that most of the people that want the TP2 want to hack the crap out of it as we have with the TP. In doing so we have gained a bigger screen, keyaboard and a tilt to the slideout feature. IMO this has perks to it. Is it worth the price? Maybe not but most hardcore people that want the latest and greatest will pay it, why? B/C when we are done hacking the crap out of it it will be one bada$$ toy, and an expensive one at that. To each their own. Thanks for the info but it hasn't changed my mind to not get it. Worst case..I got 30 days with sprint to play with it..if not..back to the TP i go.

you guys are hilarious. now your clowing jordan lol. You boycott all you want. I will be wearing my Jordans watching his highlights on my beautiful touch pro 2 screen phuck what yall talking about. I have never heard so much negative before actually seeing the phone. This phone is definitely an upgrade regardless of what you want to believe, and i for one can afford it and will buy another one if it's released in 6 more months. The benefit of being young with no kids :)

Man I know that's real! Same here for me bro. Rocking the Raging bull RED 5's with the new tp2 lol...but seriously the phone is not as bad as ppl making it out to be. And don't know what kinda Jo's whoever bottoms falling off but wow hope they wasn't official Jo's...
