I am waiting for a new windows mobile 7 phone with a 1 ghz snapdragon cpu and 512 ram and the larger oled screen. So I'm hanging on to my Touch Pro until then because if I upgraded everytime a new device came out, I would end up buying a new Phone every 6 months.

too bad the snapdragon is a long ways from being produced in cell phones...netbooks just got them, and reports are that performance wasnt what was expected at all...

Once the TP2 comes out it'll be interesting to see how many people (IF ANY) who said they weren't getting the TP2 actually end up with it. Im getting a TP2 cause I need something to keep me busy until the TP3 comes out! :)

Robodude is absolutely right....More screen=more processor usage...they need to fix battery issues and overheating before I change my perfectly fine TP1.....

they did fix the battery issues...did you read the BGR on the TP2? said that they got considerable more battery life than the TP...plus it comes with a 1500ma battery instead of 1300...

pocketnow did a side by side comparison and the TP2 had worse battery even with a bigger one due to more processing sucked from the WVGA screen

None of this really matters because people are either going to get the phone or not, lol...

Hopefully Sprint will let me swap for a TP2 4 months after it comes out. I have returned 3 Touch Pro because the keyboard stopped working and 2 others because of the Rainbow square on the screen. I'm tired of going to the Sprint store waiting for them to ship a new phone for me. I have bad luck with the Pro 1. That alone is a good reason for me to get the TP2
