Emulation for Iphone is there just to be there. It's not suppose to be a basis for Iphones games. Games for Iphone is a full console games. believe it or not. Re: Anyone have an iPhone or come from one?
console type gaming shouldnt be an issue..thats why we have psp or Nds. doesnt matter how good or smooth they look on either phone.. the controls are still really bad. i love games but i dont care about gaming on cell phones... just have the simple ones like tetris and card games to keep me busy when there are minutes to spare. the neat little ones like the flute/recorder, lightsaber, or other never before seen "games" are pretty cool to mess with.

The analog controls are being minimized little by little to make way for the new technological revolution. Wii started it. It's the way we interact. Accelermeter will make a big part in this transition.

Re: Anyone have an iPhone or come from one?
Like the other dude mentioned, Not only WM has warez. But I do not want to talk about it. Battery of Iphone is really good. For the 1st gen thou. I don't know about the 3g. Here's the comparison. I use my iphone as an alarm clock and it's set to 4 different times everyday. I charge it every 2 weeks. I have a spare htc touch that I do not use at all. It's just there. I only use it if I am testing an app. I charge it every 5 days.

Re: Anyone have an iPhone or come from one?
yup it is advancing, but its gonna take a lot more to make it better than regular old controls as far as games go... you can't get precise controls in really competitive sports games, fps games, etc... and if there are instances of exact controls its probably not very realistic. eventually, it would be great to be able to play realistically in certain games but nintendo has a long way to go to make that work. once they get it right im all over it though. for now its more like a fun party to have a lot of laughs with friends. ive never seen so many older people willing to play a game before lol.
as far as phones its not impressing me at all for games.. i want to see it used for more productive stuff! it has brought game development to phones though so i guess thats good --- advancement is better than no advancement. if we didnt have the accelerometer the games would be even harder to control with the stiff buttons and inflexible onscreen keys we have. now that phones are much more powerful, they should have a phone that has a hidden gamepad like we have a hidden keyboard. |
