Re: I can upgrade Dec 1st
no evo hang up. i have one of thoes too. i literally just changed my pocket pc listed in my title three days ago! i gave it to my fiance when her tp2 went out. the epic is just (in my opinion) an equal device to the evo, i just need the hardware keyboard.

Re: I can upgrade Dec 1st
see, that's my problem right there. there are times when i need to type fast, and swype on the hd2 can be a hassle sometimes. i liked going to the tp2 with the great kb, but the ol lady has a moment and i'm not that impressed with samsung. my hd2 is a tank, that's why i'm leaning toward the evo....what to do lol.

I am using both a TP2 and an Epic and every time I go to my TP2 it just feels sluggish and annoying...and weird thing is..I've never once felt my TP2 was sluggish..to me it was fine...but after using the Epic..its hard to go back once you experience it :/

Yeah thats my only real hang up about the EVO the lack of a keyboard, but it is so big. I am gonna give it a try. The TP2 keyboard, its da best. I can type on it w/o looking. |

Re: I can upgrade Dec 1st
You should give it a shot, I got a Evo about a week ago. Going a physical keyboard to a on screen keyboard does take some getting used to but its not that big of a deal because the size of this beast! I can't really speak for the Epic because I don't own one. I'm sure its a great device I did try one out at a sprint store, only thing I wasn't really feeling was the UI and the keyboard does feel a little cheap. But nonetheless still a great device. But in my experience going from a TP2 to a EVO is a night and day difference. No lags, you can open apps and don't have to worry about running out of mem, data speeds are ridiculous compared to the TP2 even on 3g. You should definately dump the TP2 or keep it as a backup device in favor of one of these newer ones if you are looking for a better overall experience.

I am definitely planning to keep the TP2 for backup. Perhaps I will find a real NOOB friendly ROM for the wife who is infinitely scared of touch screen phones in general. I am thinking of getting her into a Transform or something that might get her away from the Curve. |

For the OP, you really have to go with what is going to be best for you, which you won't know until you actually start using the different phones. I have zero desire for WP7. I don't like the whole tile layout and don't use facebook, twitter, etc so that social integration does nothing for me. Its new and will take some time to work out the kinks. I tried android a few times, liked it and went that route. |
