Treo 800w Fails On Me For The 3rd Time! Im Done With This Phone!!!!!

So I have given this freaking piece of **** so many try's that I cant take it anymore! The phone completley died on me on a 11 hour trip and its been on the charger now for 5 days! I am so pissed at this phone and now I am trying to get the htc touch pro and sprint is fighting me on it! they say "oh well we can give you a 75 dollar upgrade".. WHAT THE HELL DOES THAT HELP!?!?!?!? I AM OUT ANOTHER PHONE AND IF I HAVE TRIED THIS MANY TIMES TO GET THE PHONE TO WORK I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET A DIFFRENT PHONE! AND ON TOP OF THAT I HAVE BEEN WITH SPRINT FOR ABOUT 4 YEARS!

Which phone should I fight for??? and does anybody have any recommendations for getting them to swap me phones? thanks guys when I first got the phone I thought it was great... till one thing after the next happend and not even going thru 3 phones fixed the damn problem

What shape is the battery in? a 5 day charge indicates a defective battery. Seido has the 2600MA battery that works well with the 800W.

If you really have had it call customer service and ask for customer retention. Do not speak with anyone else. Tell them your situation and you are fed up and tell them you are on the verge of going to another carrier.

What sanmanc said, and angle for a Treo Pro. As much as I loved my 800 (I was luckier than you, it seems) the Pro is a real upgrade. I didn't really know how much till I got mine and noticed various improvements.

when you got your treo pro. did you just got it replaced with your 800w or did you have to pay extra to get the treo pro. because right now im really having some issues with my 2nd 800w wich is refurbished and sprint only wants to replace it with another refurbished 800w. they wont give me a new one because the 800w was discontinued.

The main improvement that just literally screamed at me was the superior quality of calls in the ear piece. I didn't think the 800 was that bad, but wow it's sooo much more clear on the Pro. The battery life I'm still studying while my battery gets conditioned. So far it's an improvement but not the "vast improvement" that I had read about and was anticipating. Also, when I had the 800, I didn't see the big deal with it not having a 3.5 mm jack. Well, although I wasn't pining for one, it sure is nice to have, especially when charging and I can still pop some headphones on and listen to some tunes. A big bonus is that the charging ports are the same (although the Pro's seems to be way more sturdy and not prone to getting loose) so I am able to use the same car charger and wall charger from my 800. The keyboard is not as difficult to get used to as I thought it would be, IMO, and at least it doesn't feel like a bunch of boogers. @cardenas even if the 800 wasn't discontinued, most likely you'd be getting a refurb. I somehow was eligible for the $150 upgrade discount and MIR so I got it for $199. You would probably have to got through at least one more 800 before retentions would consider giving you a free upgrad to the Pro, but that is just my opinion based on what I've read on various forums.

but wen u got your pro did you already go through 3 800 or you just had one? because i was talking to them but all they could do was upgrade my eligibility for 150$
