Too early to be looking for custom roms, before customs roms are released an unlocker has to be made available and at least an official rom update be released. It can take a few months after a device is released before a ROM upgrade is done and custom roms start going on. I believe it took like 6 months for the touch.

I want to change the ROM on this phone badly. There are so many little quirks and problems. Like if I turn my phone's screen off while its connected to the PC, it will disconnect the USB and I have to reset the phone.

I noticed the same issue and was wondering if anyone else had the problem or is was a problem with my phone. To solve the issue, I disconnect the phone from the cradle, turn it on and set it back in the cradle. It takes about 25-30 seconds they starts to auto sync.

This definitely needs to be fixed and I was considering notifying Palm about it.

Same problem here. My phone will charge when connected but computer wont recognize to sync
