Does the battery pack pro slow the system down? It seems like a great software sweet, but I hate when my OS bogs down.

It has some problems like if you use the search tab you screen lock wont come on. Not sure what one has to do with the other. I like it tho I have a real problem with things that slow my system down but with a little testing I was able to come up with a setup that I am happy with. There is no noticeable slow downs. This did take some trial and error tho and no using the battery bar. things that update slow the today screen down. Program bar works great and I also use the calender bar.

PA IronAeroxxs
WP Simple 240 Storyr 1
Lvmtime

And i'll def post a new and improved once i learn the ins and outs of the programs

P.S. Thanks Storyr for the info on screen captures, I had the program on the phone but didnt realize it was part of the 'viewer' package.

I give up... I've been playing with UITweaker but can't find how to turn the word Start black so it doesn't display (my theme is black).

I've seen people do it, anyone know exactly what option it is? Thanks in advance!

You can change it using Tweaks2k2 ...

in tweaks its under system colors / start menu color i believe is it...changes the clock also...

another option is running a program like wisbar lite that covers "Start" up with a task manager

I use SmallmenuPlus.

That has an option to skin the Start Button. I just took a Wisbar skn for the startbar and painted it black.
