SmallMenuPlus MagicButton WeatherPanel (Stealth 240 theme) TodayAgenda PhoneAlarm MagicCall (phone/sms filter) AE Button Plus Battery Meter from XDA I'd say on average, when my system starts with all of that I have about 38mb of free Program Memory left (RAM). The rest of it just comes down to not having too many programs installed on the device, which in turn makes the registry larger and the /windows more complicated. Of course, I have easily 40 installations on my device (some are tiny like KeyLight, others large like Skype 2.0), so I don't mean to imply to be skimpy either. Just install what you KNOW you use and not what you think you may need on some rare day. Occasionally, it's nice to hard-reset and just install the basics and lock in the device, especially after experimenting with a lot of software. Also, look for a program called UPX4PPC which is used to shrink down .exe and .dll files--saves space and lets things run faster in turn. Using SKTools, though not for a novice, is also helpful. New version now has a Registry compressor (saves 20% in space). |

Oh and one more thing: Avoid altogether if possible installing .NET CF 2.0.
It's garbage and will slow down your device. ![]() |

For UPX, you can do most programs (don't do anything in \windows). It makes a backup for you, so just name it and save it. If you break the program, just recopy the .exe and or .dlls back over. |

I know you can change the clock and Start font using Tweaks2k2. Not sure why that is not in TweaksUI or if it is, where it is. Not sure about the arrows/signal though. BTW: How do you change the colors of the SoftKey font? Never mind, got it! |
