So far what I've found is this. I used Total Commander to check the registry settings and found the "reserved space" file set to the lowest setting of 1024. This is what it needs to be. What this is, is the amount of memory required in the phone to send a message. I'm still researching this. Hopefully I'll find something soon. Can someone check for me and see if the MMS was a trial issue? Thanks in advance.

I doubt this was a trial, it was posted on September 6, 2006... and Mike would have made us aware of the issue. This release wouldn't have been such a big improvement if it was only a trial.
Either there's an outage that affects only the PDA side of MMS, or they made some change to the server settings that's preventing the app from working.

While I hope your right and it's just an application tweak... Your assuming sprint didn't change something that screwed this app into not working. PPC phones do not use the same data path on the sprint network as do regular phones. PPC phones go through the BMI (byte mobile) for compression. Regular phones go through the MAG6 gateway which does a HTML -> WML conversion for the phone. Among many other things... (no need to get into) While they do follow a similar path on Sprint PDSN network they do deviate from one another a bit. Hopefully if it was a change on sprints end it can be fixed with a small change in the phone app. But it would be pretty easy for sprint to block inbound picturemail from the datapath the PPCs take as it does differ from a regular handset enough. |

I just started getting a new error and i wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem.
I installed the MMS hack a few weeks ago and had no problems with it at all. As of yesterday, everytime I try to send a pic I get "Message Delivery Failed, Or Message Receipt Failed". Anyone know why I might be getting this error and how to possible fix it? Thanks |

If you read the last couple of posts, that's what everyone is discussing. The possible cause and resolution of that error.

I have had the same problem. It was working fine for one day, then the next day i started getting the "Messaging Failed" error. I called sprint to see if it was a problem with my powers vision and they had told me that my picture messaging was took off my account. They told me that the power vision pack does not include pic/messaging but they could see where I used it but was not charged. I really need this app working because I do not have everyone's phone email address. PLEASE.. PLEASE.. HELP!!!!!!!
