Updated: 02/05 - NO LONGER WORKING on Sprint - Real Picture Mail (PicMail, MMS)

ok I am having all kinds of problems with this treo 700wx and sprint. I am a former nextel customer who switched over to sprint because i wanted a pda camera phone. I have had nothing but headach and problems from sprint since i switched!


I have downloaded a zip program and the hac to do picture mail Iwhy in the hell can't id do picture mail in the first place!) and I still can't get it to send a text with picture. not sure what's wrong, I am trying to send one to myself to test it and I keep getting

Message delivery failed

how do i get that to stop coming, in fact how do i make the phone stop trying to send the pictuer mail alltogether????? there is only the options at the bottom left to retry and bottom right retry later. I don't want to retry I just want it to stop!

please I don't understand sprint pictuer mail, all I want to do is to be able to send a picture with text to a phone with another person who has the pictuer mail capability.

Did you actually install the application? Copying the ZIP file to the device is not enough, you need to un-ZIP (decompress) it and the install run the CAB file to install this PicMail application.

If you have a message that is not sending and want to cancel the send, go to Folders - Outbox and then delete it from there.

It sounds like you didn't actually install the application. If you need an application to un-zip files on the device itself, check the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum.

Do you have an MMS folder in Pocket Outlook?

This is after I get a message saying that it is "sending media message"

I have the Moto Q and it also has the Windows OS. I installed the cab file and it will appeared to install successful. When I went to send my first pix mail, the screen to enter a phone number flashed and then disappeared.
Any suggestions?

In the last 3 days no one can receive pic's from me, i can't receiveany from Sprint users, I did get pictures fron 1 verizon user & 2 T-Mobile users.

When I send an MMS message the little box comes at the top of my screen with the moving arrow, the the comfirmation pop-up...........But no one receivs the pic

just me or what? Wednesday I called sprint they said pic mail was down but up and running again that afternoon.

As of yesterday I receive pic's from everyone but no one gets pic's I send, and I still get the pop-up comfirmation that it was sent........

last monday I installed MemMaid,Phone Alarm, and hidelogo

I doubt any of those apps interferred. Sound like network issues to me.

New guy on the block, after i read the 10th page or so i noticed i was getting the same error saying it wont send. But i reinstalled soft reset and went to my inbox and boom this cute little graphics came up which wasnt their before and said yay!

Truely appreciated it.

My mms is sending....just taking a day or 2 to get through...Must be a network issue.

I installed the app from the cab and it appears to be working. I send a test message to myself but it hasnt gotten here after 2 days. I also sent a copy to my wife's phone but it never arrives. No error messages, just no delivery.
I have the $15 power vision plan.
Any ideas?
