Sweet I like this and have all ready changed mine. The Treo has Sprint stamped on the front why dose it need to say sprint in the screen.Thanks for the tip

This gets reset back to Sprint every time you turn the phone off, then back on. Hence the name "State"- apparently this section gets overwritten by the operating system whenever state changes on various items...

Hi guys. This is exactly what I was looking for (a way to get rid of the Sprint and BT text and icon. I tried using Mobile Reg Editor to modify the entry you refer to but I keep getting "Access Denied" when I try and update the registry. Did you guys run into this?

Actually, I downloaded a reg editor that runs on the Treo 700wx and modified the entry and I still see the word "Sprint" and the Bluetooth logo. Anthing else I need to do to make this work?

doesnt work for verizon. crud. i was so hoping it would work.
