This is really simple using a registry editor:
HKLM/System/State/Phone --> Change "Current Operator Name" to whatever you want

Sweet I like this and have all ready changed mine. The Treo has Sprint stamped on the front why dose it need to say sprint in the screen.Thanks for the tip
