I have 200+ contacts and 300+ calendar entries that I sync every time I flash. Thank goodness for exchange!!!!!

Works great! Only thing I found so far was there is no options for search engine on the Today screen search field.

hi, i am trying to update the rom on my 700wx for sprint.
when i DL the .rar update file and go through the steps my phone says that no rom update is on my card. when i DL the file this is the name:

SPNT_REL_1.3_Treo_700wx_WM6.1_5.2.20931_(Build_209 31.1.5.0)_Napaboth

it shows the file as a .rar file. is that what it is supposed to be?

am i doing something wrong?

any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you extracting "NapaBoth.nb0" from the .rar file? The file you download is a compressed file (.rar is similar to .zip). If you aren't familiar with it, you may need to acquire a decompression utility that can handle it. You might want to look at http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm. I'm sure there are plenty of free alternatives. Personally, I use StuffIt, which is a commercial compression software.

By the way, this is the easiest WM upgrade I've ever done. So simple compared to having to get a phone to connect to a PC via USB.

okay i DLed the extraction program and got the napaboth.nb0 file that is 65,024 kb

i put that on my sd card but i still didn't show up when i tried to install the rom

possibly of notw...the picture of the file on the sd card is of a window with several icons (don't know if that matters or not...)

I found these instructions worked flawlessly:

1. Format SD Card as FAT32.
2. Copy Rom image (NapaBoth.nb0) to SD card.
3. Remove Battery from phone, and unplug the power cord.
4. Reinsert battery while holding the up volume button on the side of the phone.
5. Follow on screen prompts.
6. Once the update starts, plug in your power cord. You don't want the battery to go dead while updating.
7. Wait for approximately 20 minutes for the update to complete.

For #4, make sure you are pressing the volume up button prior to inserting the battery. Also make sure your SD card is formatted FAT32, as it is not the default for anything under 4GB.

I guess one other obvious step is to put the SD card into the phone prior to step 4.

I have searched this thread and could not find the issue I am having and I hope someone can help. I upgraded my Treo 700wx to (flashed to Cricket) Verizon 1.3 build 20931 and all worked well except I noticed the phone was real sluggish and I only had about 2mb of program memory left. I also found that I was now getting a .TSk error and could not add contacts. I decided to downgrade back to what I had to loaded the Verizob 1.24 software (both the upgrade and downgarde were found on the first page of this post). When I did that I got all my program memory back but I had to have it reflashed back to Cricket and I still can not add contacts. When I hit the contacts button it will show the contacts screen for a split second then go back to the Today screen, I also just found that I can not add appointments to my calander....when I try I get an Unknown Error has Occured.

Has anyone else had issues like this or can anyone help me fix this?

Thanks for the upgrade info... 1 question... any one having a problem with their phone running sluggish? mine sure is!
