Re: Adrynalyne's 6.1 ROMs v. 1.5
There's really not much you can do w/ Async if those tricks aren't working. Neither the exchange trick or async killer helped me. it sucks!!!

Re: Adrynalyne's 6.1 ROMs v. 1.5
Can Async be uninstalled? I only use Windows to flash the new ROMs. I primarily use Linux on my PCs. Linux sees the phone as a flash drive or a network connection so I don't need Async.

Not sure which ActiveSync issue is the complaint. I always use MemMaid to kill one of the notifications for ActiveSync. You could use a trial version if that is all you need it for.
The one I kill (delete) is one of 3 replog.exe. The Argument below (when highlighted) says AppRunAfterTimeChange and sometimes it seems to make ActiveSync turn into "Hyper"Sync. This was a recognized fix back in the Apache and Titan forums. Helps battery life.

Activesync keeps popping up a few seconds after you close it. I did the exchange trick but it had no affect.

Re: Adrynalyne's 6.1 ROMs v. 1.5
As mentioned, nothing you can do if the tricks don't work. Its not meant to be shut down.
Anyway--regarding Opera 9.7--I still can't get an OEM working. So if you want to test it, install it to My Storage. |
