Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I love sprint I been with them for a while now, but what I don't get is this:
Why don't they offer an app for smart phones so that they can use push to talk, I don't want a stupid blackberry
Why spent money locking phones - people will leave you is they want to
Why spent money moding phones- buy them like they are made
Why take features away from phones - the pro2 in the us cannot conference
Why not be the first carrier to offer video talk
I know that sprint is not the only carrier tha does that but they have to stop spending money on limiting users and more on enhancing users experience

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

I plan on staying with Sprint as long as possible because I'm on the Sero plan- which I know isn't the best for Sprint since my plan is so cheap.

I don't know if this happens at other carriers or stores but what does bother me is the poor customer service at the Corp stores.

I've had my phone looked at twice and both times, even with when my replacement phone was available for pickup- I still ended up waiting an hour. Yesterday I waited an hour with an appointment! Meanwhile, the reps seemed to be doing anything but helping the customers waiting. I even saw some brushing off new customers. In the end, I got my phone 15 minutes after closing and there were still 3 more people on the appointment queue. That kind of business model hurts customers and sucks for the employees who had to stay late...

Yeah that sucks but go to a different store if the one you go to is crappy.

The thing is Sprint was the best deal in cellular 2 years ago. In my opinion they have a decent network, good phones, great rates and actually good service (from my experience). A couple of years ago I brought myself and 5 other people to sprint (4 from verizon and 2 from tmobile) with the alure of small bills and big features. Lately it seems like Sprint is not that much cheaper than Vzw or at&t anymore. Now Simple Talk or whatever is entering the market. People want the biggest bang for their buck and I'm not sure Sprint is the best deal anymore.
is simple talk is the tmoble thing? if so its my understanding that it only covers talking and texting and that data and internet is extra

Damn, that sucks. Getting laid off anytime is bad- worse near the holidays.

Re: Sprint losses and customer defections continue

forcing people into the simply everything plans is what really made it worse. especially for those that want the hero but dont want to pay 2x as much monthly than they do now.
